The academy

Learn to drum. Then learn to perform.

Our drumming and percussion academy teaches the way a working musician actually plays — real technique, real timing, and the feel that moves a room. Study one-to-one or in a group, in person in the Greater Toronto Area or online from anywhere in Canada, on a clear pathway that ends where most lessons never reach: on a stage.

For every level

Whether it's your first beat or your next step.

There's a place here for the complete beginner, the returning player, and the advanced student ready to perform. Every learner gets a clear plan and a working professional in the room.

Beginners

Start from zero: posture, grip, reading time, and your first grooves. Build confidence on a kit or hand percussion without the guesswork.

Intermediate

Sharpen coordination, dynamics and feel across styles — pop, rock, jazz and classical — and start playing full songs from start to finish.

Advanced & performance

Refine your voice as a player, build a repertoire, and prepare for real stage time — including a path to paid performance roles.

Youth & community

Programs for young learners and school partnerships, with discounted places for youth and low-income groups so cost isn't a barrier.

Programs & formats

Choose how you want to learn.

New students start with a conversation about goals and level, then we recommend the right format and schedule. Ask about current openings & fees →

The pathway

From learning to earning.

What makes this academy different is where it leads. As students progress, the strongest players are invited to perform at monthly showcases and community events — and the most advanced can step into paid roles inside the business, as assistant instructors or junior performers on the live roster.

It's a genuine talent pipeline: you learn from working musicians, and you can become one. That's how we keep our roster deep, and how we create real opportunities for Canadian players.
